Composition

Craig Alberty has over forty published compositions and arrangements in the catalogs of six publishers that are in international distribution.  His works have been featured at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago, The World Saxophone Congress in Montreal, and other state and regional meetings including the North American Saxophone Alliance. His concert band compositions are included on several contest performance lists in the U. S. and Australia.

His most recent works are available exclusively through BandExpansion.com, a new site he developed that is devoted to music for concert bands with incomplete instrumentation. It has full recordings of all works; they can be heard here.

The following recordings are representative of his music for concert and jazz band.

A Jubilant Flourish -- Band World magazine included this original work for concert band its list of top new publications out of 850 entries.  It was performed at the Western International Band Conference in Seattle, 2006 and again at the American Band College Director's clinics in June, 2007.
Palm Coast Romp --This fun Latin chart is written for young jazz band.  The demo features a killer trumpet solo  by Ken Brader, Phil Woods’ lead player on several recordings.
